The Night Agent Season 2 revealed a number of new additions to the show’s roster.
Season 1 of The Night Agent proved to be a huge surprise hit with Netflix viewers as they followed young FBI agent Peter Sutherland. Peter along with Rose Larkin became involved in massive conspiracy with its sight set on the Oval office. The finale saw Peter rewarded with a chance to become a Night agent and sent off for training after saying goodbye to Rose.
Season 2 Cast
The Night Agent Season 2 sees Amanda Warren (East New York), Brittany Snow (American Dreams), Teddy Sears (The Flash), Arienne Mandi (The L Word: Generation Q), Louis Herthum (The Peripheral) and Berto Colon (Power Book II: Ghost) joining. They will join Gabriel Basso and Luciane Buchanan who will reprise her role as Rose.
Warren is a veteran of the Night Agent programme. She trains and mentors the new agents
Snow will play Peter’s new partner and mentor Alice. Sears will play Warren, a high-level intelligence officer who becomes the subject of a Night Action investigation. Mandi will play Noor, a low-level aide in the Iranian mission to the United Nations in New York; Herthum is Jacob Monroe, an international businessman with global connections that he uses to obtain valuable information; and Colon will play Solomon, a former Marine turned right-hand man/fixer.
The show earned a renewal is just 6 days and was on Netflix’ Top 10 list in 93 countries. While the show’s first season shot in Vancouver, production will now take place in New York. Production begins in late January in New York City. Shawn Ryan serves as showrunner on the project, Sony Pictures produce.
