The Irrational Season 1, the new procedural starring Jesse L. Martin (The Flash) completed filming this week.
The Irrational Season 1 production schedule was affected by the strikes so not all season one episodes were completed. That didn’t stop those completed episodes from earning a season 2 renewal at NBC though. The Irrational will now take a 6 week break before returning to begin season 2 filming. Filming takes place in Vancouver, using the Hennings Building of the University of British Columbia
Alec Mercer (Jesse L Martin). a world-renowned professor of behavioral science, lends his expertise to an array of high-stakes cases involving governments, law enforcement, and corporations with his unique and unexpected approach to understanding human behavior.

The initial 7 episodes saw the Professor and his team take on a number of cases including a trip to Las Vegas. Alex also started to uncover the mystery around the attack on a church that left him scarred.
Arika Mittman, Sam Baum and Mark Goffman are producers on the project. The show is based on the novel by Dan Airely, Predictably Irrational.
