Netflix Reveals CODE 8 PART II Trailer

We have the new trailer for action thriller Code 8: Part II starring Robbie Amell (Upload).

Code 8 began as a short film project created by Robbie and Stephen Amell (Arrow) in 2016. The short film measured interest in potential support for a feature adaption. Through Indiegogo the pair managed to blow past their initial goal of $200k to end with donations totally $3.9 million. Filming took place in Toronto.

Code 8 was released in theatres in December 2019 and acquired by Netflix in 2020.

In Code 8: Part II Connor (Robbie Amell) is out of prison and working as a janitor at a community center, having cut ties with his former criminal associate Garrett (Stephen Amell). Connor’s attempt at staying out of trouble is destroyed when he’s forced to help 14-year-old Pav (Sirena Gulamgaus) escape from a pack of corrupt officers led by Sergeant King (Alex Mallari Jr.). King uses the newly launched robotic K9’s to track Pav down, while Connor finds himself once again reaching out to Garrett and his crew for help, but can he trust the man who landed him in prison in the first place?

Look for the sequel to debut on 28 February 2024.
