Suits: LA have found their lead attorney, Stephen Amell (Arrow) will star in the show pilot.

With the recent rise in popularity of Suits via Netflix, NBC looks to capitalise a pilot order for an LA based spinoff. Suits currently sits on top of the scripted pyramid as the most-streamed program of 2023. That sort of success could mean that the fans are ready for more of the same.
Suits: LA centers on Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York who is described as a “charismatic force of nature who puts his own needs above others. Ted joined forces 15 years ago with his old buddy, Stuart Lane, to build an L.A. law firm that specializes in criminal and entertainment law.”
Amell will play Ted Black, casting for Stuart is still underway as it is for the likely female lead Erica. Though this is a spinoff there is no mention of character crossover at least in the Pilot. The biggest draw from the original will be its creator Aaron Korsh. Korsh will be writing the pilot as well as executive producing alongside David Bartis, Doug Liman, Gene Klein and director Victoria Mahoney.
Stephen Amell rose to fame playing Oliver Queen on the CW’s Arrow the progenitor of the Arrowverse. The show ran for 8 seasons and rode the wave of superhero hype. He will star in sci-fi crime thriller Code 9: Part II alongside cousin and fellow Arrowverse alumni Robbie Amell (Upload).
Suits: LA will film in Vancouver from late March.
