SKYMED Season 3 Begins Filming In Ontario & Manitoba

Skymed Season 3 is set to begin filming this month as the high flying drama continues to impress.

The show airs on CBC in Canada and Paramount+ internationally. It follows a team of young medics and pilots. These teams provide medical support to the remote North communities of Canada where help and potentially survival can be thousands of miles away.

Season 3 picks up after the season 2 finale.

Mounting pressure within the tight-knit SkyMed team – and shocking medical emergency for one of its members – threatens to tear the group apart. Now, faced with more dangerous missions across the wilderness and a few newcomers who arrive at the crew house to shake things up, the medical responders must rely on each other more than ever as they experience heart-pulsing rescues, new love and hard goodbyes on the job.

Natasha Calis, Morgan Holmstrom, Crystal Akilia, Mercedes Morris, Thomas Elms, Kheon Clarke, Sydney Kuhne and Aaron Ashmore star. Aaron Nadjiwon, Emilia McCarthy, Anthony Grant, Nicola Correia-Damude, Braeden Clarke will recur on the show.

Season 3 will consist of 9 episodes, filming takes place in North Bay, Ontario and Manitoba. Filming takes place from 25 March 2024 through to 21 June 2024.
