CBS has released a brand new trailer ahead of the premiere of Watson early next year.
If like me, you are a fan of Holmes and Watson you would likely have wanted to learn more about this project since it was announced. The show will launch after the National Football League’s AFC Championship Game on January 26th.
After the premiere the show moved to Sunday nights at 10 time slot from February 16th.
Six months after the death of his friend and partner Sherlock Holmes at the hands of Moriarty, Dr. John Watson (Morris Chestnut) resumes his medical career as the head of a Pittsburgh clinic dedicated to treating rare disorders.
Watson is a medical show with a strong investigative spine, featuring a modern version of one of history’s greatest detectives as he turns his attention from solving crimes to addressing the greatest mystery of all: illness, and the ways it disrupts our lives.
Check out the trailer below.
Watson stars Morris Chestnut, Rochelle Aytes, Peter Mark Kendall, Ritchie Coster, Eve Harlow and Inga Schlingmann.
While set in Pittsburgh, which was Watson’s home before leaving for London with Holmes, production took place mostly in Vancouver. There was a week of shooting in Pittsburgh in June. From 17 June 2024 to 22 November 2024, shooting took place in Vancouver. This included a recreation of one of the most iconic scenes in Holmes & Watson lore, the fight to the death between Sherlock Holmes and his greatest adversary Moriarty at the Reichenbach Falls.
