Hulu’s Amanda Knox story adaption is filming in Vancouver this month.
Amanda: A Coming of Age Horror Story is based on the true story of how Amanda Knox was wrongfully convicted for the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher in Italy and her 16-year odyssey to set herself free.
Vancouver filming will run from 2 December 2024 until 6 December 2024. The majority of filming on the project takes place on location in Italy. The total filming schedule runs from 17 October 2024 through until 21 March 2025.
Grace Van Patten will play Amanda Knox in this story taken directly from the headlines. The New York born actress recently starred in thriller Tell Me Lies on Hulu. Other credits include Nine Perfect Strangers and The Violent Heart.
Sharon Horgan (Mr & Mrs Smith) plays Amanda’s desperate but optimistic mother Edda Mellas , whose unwavering love for her daughter propels her as she fights for Amanda’s life.
