The Way Home Season 4 is a go after Hallmark announced their decision to renew the hit show.

Samantha DiPippo, SVP Programming at Hallmark Media had this to say about the family drama:
“Our talented writing staff led by the mother-daughter showrunning team of Heather Conkie and Alexandra Clarke continues to amaze us as they raise the bar each season. Their carefully crafted storytelling filled with family drama, romance and an absorbing mystery has enthralled the show’s passionate fanbase and has made The Way Home appointment television.”
Controversy
Hallmark managed to energise its fan base in all the wrong ways when it announced their decision for The Way Home to premiere first on Hallmark+ before finally coming to the Hallmark channel months later.
Hallmark+ had been recently relaunched as a streaming service and Hallmark Media clearly thought that TWH would be great for driving fans to the new service. Fans though felt that it was unfair to have to subscribe to a new service to keep watching their favourite show. The pressure forced Hallmark to reverse their decision a few weeks later.
The Way Home is a Neshama Entertainment production in association with MarVista Entertainment. Executive producers are Conkie, Clarke, Fernando Szew, Hannah Pillemer, Larry Grimaldi, Ani Kevork, Arnie Zipursky, Marly Reed, Suzanne L. Berger, MacDowell and Leigh.
The show films in Ontario with Season 4 filming scheduled for Summer and Fall 2025.
John Calvert produces the series. Mitch Geddes and Jessica Runk serve as consulting producers. Michael Hanley is executive story editor.
The Way Home Season 4 will air sometime in 2026.
