Interview With A Vampire will film in Toronto after moving its production from New Orleans for the upcoming season.
Interview with the Vampire centers on the life story of vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) as told to veteran journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian), to whom he previously gave an unpublished interview in 1973.
An affluent black man in 1910s New Orleans, Louis is romanced and later made a vampire by the charismatic Lestat de Lancourt (Sam Reid). But Louis struggles with his humanity, and the introduction of Lestat’s newest fledgling, the teenage vampire Claudia (Delainey Hayles), only strains their relationship further.
The show is part of the Immortal Universe, a media franchise based on the stories of Anne Rice. Mayfair Witches is the other show that is part of this franchise. It stars Alexandra Daddario and premiered in January 2023. Both shows air on AMC with a thrid show set to premiere later this year.
Filming in Toronto will run from 16 June to 10 October 2025. Season 3 will debut in 2026.
Interview With Vampire stars Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Eric Bogosian, Delainey Hayles and Assad Zaman. Rolin Jones serves as the showrunner on this project. Dwight Street Books and AMC Studios produce the series.
