ScareBNB is a new Horror/Dark Comedy from Canadian director AJ Lutsky (Garlic Parmesan).

The film stars Tiera Skovbye (Riverdale) and Kevin Alves (Yellowjackets) with production set to begin soon. Production will take place near Kelowna, British Columbia.
The horror-thriller follows four college friends — Nicole, Jennifer, Danielle, and the token guy, Evan — on a summer vacation at a secluded cabin. What starts as a seemingly idyllic getaway spirals into chaos when they find themselves being hunted by two psychotic attackers. But the real shock comes as the friends discover the motive and mastermind behind their twisted terror trip.
Skovbye starred in modern Western drama Ride and recently appeared in Hallmark family drama When Calls The Heart. She played Polly Cooper on the CW’s Riverdale appearing in 32 episodes of the hit show.
Hallmark bound
There has been speculation that this film may be headed to the Hallmark channel. This would be a significant change for the family friendly network. As of writing I could not find a source that confirms that Hallmark has acquired the film.
Kevin Alves appears in critically acclaimed series Yellowjackets. The young actor also had a recurring role in supernatural series Shadowhunters.
Lutsky had this to say:
“When fear gives way to humor, it creates this incredible vulnerable space where we can think and reflect without realizing we are doing it. That’s the key to this film.”
Kimi Alexander (Are We Done Now?) is producing. Todd Slater (The Optimist), Michael Olsen (Chained) and Patrick Phillips (Broken) are on board as executive producers. The project is the first feature film under the Double Phifer Media Inc. banner, in cooperation with Motion Media Group and Convoke Media.
