Hallmark Media and Netflix have agreed a new output deal, which will see Hallmark holiday films being made available in international markets.

This new deal will bring new content to Netflix users in the U.S., and to bring Hallmark’s signature holiday movies to Netflix users outside of the U.S. This builds on the deal the two signed last year. That deal saw 10 Hallmark Holiday move to the streamer.
Jesse Wallace, Senior VP and Head of Distribution at Hallmark Media spoke about the effect of that deal:
“Hallmark was pleased with our linear viewership and Hallmark+ engagement and subscriber growth after the Netflix deal. We’re confident the strategic windowing of our content through this branded licensing agreement will fuel our linear and SVOD businesses.”
The Way Home
The first two seasons of The Way Home will come to US Netflix users next month. Those fans can then make their way through the first parts of the Landry’s story. Season three will debut in February 2026 and then season four will come out in late 2026. Season 4 will debut after Hallmark and Hallmark+ air the family drama.
A number of Valentine movies are part of the deal:
- Unexpected Valentine
- Sisterhood, Inc.
- The Royal We
- Hats Off to Love
- Love in the Clouds
New Holiday films coming to Netflix for international viewers include:
- Haul Out the Holly
- Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up
- All I Need for Christmas,
- Christmas Under the Lights
- Our Holiday Story
Wallace said this about the new agreement:
“We remain committed to our core mission at Hallmark, which is to spread joy and positivity through the world with our critically acclaimed movie and episodic content. The global reach of Netflix is unparalleled, and we are excited to expose our content to new and existing Hallmark fans on Netflix. With this branded content licensing agreement, we can serve fans where they are, while also driving fans (new and existing) to our linear channels and/or Hallmark+ for our newest content and the entire Hallmark content library.”
