LIFE IS STRANGE Begins Vancouver Filming

Life is Strange the upcoming video game adaptation coming to Prime Video is now filming in Vancouver.

Life is Strange follows photography student Max (Tatum Grace Hopkins). She discovers the ability to rewind time while saving the life of her childhood best friend, Chloe (Maisy Stella). As she struggles to understand this new skill, the pair investigate the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student. Together they uncover a dark side to their town. This will ultimately force them to make an impossible life or death choice that will impact them forever.

Tatum Grace Hopkins and Maisy Stella will bring the central pair of the video game series to life.

Story Kitchen’s Dimitri M. Johnson and Mike Goldberg had this to say:

Together, this thoughtfully assembled dream team is ready to share Life is Strange with the world in an entirely new way!”

Charlie Covell will serve as showrunner on the series. Square Enix, Story Kitchen, LuckyChap, Amazon MGM Studios serve as producers on the project.

Filming takes place in Vancouver and began on 29 June 2026 and will run to 16 October 2026.
