BET Season 2 Begins Production Announces New Cast

Bet Season 2 has begun production according to a press release from Netflix.

A transfer student from Japan disrupts a boarding school’s power structure with her gambling skills, challenging the Student Council while pursuing revenge that could overturn the entire system.

The teen thriller is inspired by Kakegurui (Homura Kawamoto, Toru Naomura Comic Serialized in GANGAN JOKER Published by SQUARE ENIX). Simon Barry developed Bet for television.

Filming on Bet Season 2 takes place in Toronto. This season Simon Barry (Warrior Nun), Jacquie Gould (Outlander) and James Genn (Wild Cards) will direct episodes.

New Cast

Artist/entertainer Saweetie join the cast this season.

Saweetie had this to say about joining the production:
