The Mannequin, the upcoming thriller starring Lili Reinhart and Melissa Leo is now filming in Ontario.

Charley, a determined Chicago cop and young mother, moves her family to a small town in the hope of a safer future. But the promise of peace shatters when a series of violent abductions rips through the community.

Partnering with Sadie, the town’s hardened Police Chief haunted by her own past, Charley is pulled into a hunt for a predator whose brutality defies comprehension. As time runs out and the violence escalates, the two women risk everything to stop him before it’s too late.

Sean Byrne is the writer and director on the project. He is the director behind cult classic horror The Loved Ones. He had this to say about the project:

The Mannequin began filming on 29 June and will complete filming on 31 July 2026. Shooting takes place in North Bay, Ontario08.
