Day 2 of Witchbomb 4 are when things really get started and it can prove to be a long day.

I’ve done volunteering for the event before and decided to help out with photos. That means an early start helping with setting things up and getting assigned your specific role. I didn’t do it this year but I definitely respect the people who do as from all reports this time the photo sessions were intense.
For those of us not doing a load of queuing while considering our poses for the photos or herding said people.
My start was reasonable sedate just a nice breakfast at the hotel then back to my room before returning to wait for the Main Hall to open and the panels to begin.
Panels
Here are the panels for the day:

- Katherine Barrell & Dominique Provost-Chalkley
- What show would you have liked Wynonna Earp to crossover with. The answers given were North of North a great comedy you should check out and Motherland: Fort Salem. Favourite episodes for Katherine was 4.07 while Dominique points to the Wedding.
- On any items liberated from the show. Dominique revealed that she has Waverley’s Wedding Dress while Katherine held onto Haught’s belt.
- Kristina Tonteri-Young & Sylvia De Fanti
- Missed due to autographs.
- Emilie Leclerc
- We learned a lot about Emilie in this panel. Probably because this is only her second appearance at WB I really think we learned a lot. Things like she does a lot of MC work for events in Canada. And about her training at Studio 58 as a classical actor. Also Emilie is in the process of writing her own project. One thing she did mention that brought up an old memory is that she asked for and got her own fight scene in MFS. And then there was the small matter of Emilie being the voice of the World Cup for Vancouver games.
- Amalia Holm & Diana Pavlovska
- AKA the Snack Crew. Amalia talked about her experience in new country on this new project.
- Taylor Hickson & Ashley Nicole Williams
- When the two were filming the first Witchbomb scene they did not know if the show was going to be renewed. Taylor told us about a couple of interesting auditions. A My Little Pony audition that had her walking on all fours and an audition for a role in Bright where she had to learn to speak backwards.

It is fun to hear the questions from the fans and staff and the answers given by the guests. Is it really a Witchbomb if we don’t ask guests how they would do in a zombie apocalypse?
The panels have to compete with the autographs which is a shame. I missed most of two panels in the queue for my autographs. Certainly no easy way around this given how long the day already is but still.
It is Cosplay Time
Saturday is also a really big day in Witchbomb because of the Cosplay Contest that happens in the evening. It is an event that is highly anticipated while also having no idea what to truly expect in terms of the cosplays themselves. You can check out a previous cosplay contest here.
And here is a video of the cosplay contest from cartonmardybum
Here is a link to my photos of the Cosplay Contest.
