Roseanne Supernault’s directorial debut Dusk & Dawn has its World Premiere at Calgary International Film Festival.

The film follows two exes who rekindle their love on the night of their high school graduation. As they navigate the evening together with friends, they find themselves up against the ghosts of their past, discrimination, a love triangle and decisions that will affect them for the rest of their lives.
Produced by an all-female team and filmed on Treaty 6 territory, the project brings together BIPOC, Indigenous, and first-time filmmakers. Shooting locations include Frog Lake First Nation and the Fishing Lake Métis Settlement.
Indigenous couture designer Helen Oro (Plains Cree from Pelican Lake First Nation) is also a part of the project. Her designs form an integral aspect to the film.

Roseanne Supernault directs, with Jackie Bellerose, Michelle Wong set as executive producers on the project.
Roseanne Supernault has had a 20 year career in film and TV. This includes appearances in films like Rhymes For Young Ghouls and TV shows like Blackstone. She is a classically trained actor, she grew up on on East Prairie Métis Settlement.
