KUNG FU Season 3 Starts Production

Kung Fu Season 3 returns to Vancouver this month to start shooting.

After only two seasons the show has had a big impact on fans and critics alike. The show follows young twenty something Nicky Shen who returns home after running out of her life a changed woman on a mission. She attempts to repair rifts with her family while tracking down the person responsible for the death of her master.

Kung Fu Season 3 sees the Shen family closing together than ever after the events of season two what new crisis will Nikki have to rise to oppose?

Kung Fu stars Olivia Liang, Eddie Liu, Tzi Ma, Kheng Hua Tan, Jon Prasida, Shannon Dang, Gavin Stenhouse, Vanessa Kai, Tony Chung, Vanessa Yao, Annie Q, JB Tadena and Ludi Lin.

Season 2 saw the show embrace the supernatural aspects that were mostly hinted at during the first season. Indeed fans experienced alternate dimensions, body snatching, powerful relics and secret societies. The finale saw once bitter enemy Zhilan Zhang sacrifice herself to prevent Russell Tan from taking over the world. The final scene suggests that supernatural occurrences will remain a theme in the new season this time closer to home.

The show’s filming schedule is 18 July 2022 to 19 December 2022

Kung Fu Season 3 premieres on 5 October 2022 on the CW.
