Gen V will go on without recasting the role played by Chance Perdomo after his tragic death.

The producers took to the official Gen V social media page on Instagram with the announcement. Chance Perdomo died in a motorcycle accident as he made his way back to Toronto for filming. Production was paused while the cast and crew dealt with the shock.
Set in the diabolical world of The Boys, Gen V expands the universe to Godolkin University and the first generation of superheroes to know about Compound V (that their powers were injected into them rather than God-given) as they compete for the school’s highly coveted top ranking.
When the university’s dark secrets come to light, the students must come to grips with what type of heroes they are going to become.
Godolkin University where the majority of the action is set is actually the University of Toronto. The new filming dates are set for 13 May 2024 through to 27 September 2024.
The show stars Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, London Thor, Derek Luh, Maddie Phillips, Asa Germann, Sean Patrick Thomas and Marco Pigossi.
Two of the stars of Gen V were recently seen in the trailer for parent show The Boys. Asa Germann and Maddie Phillips the new crowned heroes of Godolkin appeared during the trailer which premiered at Mexico CCXP.
