WILD CARDS Season 2 Trailer Released

The CBC and CW have released a new trailer for Wild Cards Season 2, the cop and con buddy procedural starring Giacomo Gianniotti and Vanessa Morgan.

In season one Ellis is a recently demoted detective working in Vancouver’s waterfront district. He finds himself working with Max an accomplished con-woman to solve crimes. The two inevitably clash, but their results speak for themselves, forming a bond.

The season one cliffhanger found the unlikely partners in a rough place: with Ellis about to arrest Max for her triple-crossing role in a $33 million jewel heist when she showed up at his houseboat to tell him she’d discovered who murdered his brother.

Wild Cards Season 2 stars Vanessa Morgan, Giacomo Gianniotti, Terry Chen, Fletcher Donovan and Jason Priestley. This season will also see guest stars including Martin Sheen, Fletcher Donovan, Ally Sheedy, Marie Avgeropoulos, Katie Findlay and Tony D’Angelo.

Michael Konyves serves as showrunner for the show. Filming took place in Vancouver with the schedule running from 03 September 2024 through to 17 December 2024.
