This is the second adaptation of Robyn Carr’s titles, the first being Virgin River, one of Netflix’s most successful and longest-running series. Season 7 of the hit drama is set to start filming next week. The similarities between the shows are evident, with successful female protagonists seeking a new start in a small town. And that premise clearly resonates with viewers.
Sullivan’s Crossing filmed in Halifax, with production running from 15 August 2024 through to 13 December 2024. Roma Roth serves as showrunner on the project, with season 3 consisting of 10 episodes.
