Elizabeth Posey (Euphoria) has joined the cast of Vought Rising the upcoming prequel spinoff of The Boys.

This will be a leading role but we do not have any further details on it. Posey joins Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash as they reprise their roles at Soldier Boy and Stormfront. The show received a series order from Prime Video last summer. Paul Grellong is the showrunner with Eric Kripke developing.
Vought Rising is a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought.
Soldier Boy was one of Vought’s first engineered superheroes and one of the most powerful. This was even before the changes that happened after he was betrayed by his team and experimented on in the then USSR. Clara Vought/Stormfront was the prototype superhuman created by Frederick Vought. She went on to marry the creator of Compound V before the two were moved to the US. Stormfront also doesn’t appear to age and has reinvented herself over the years with new identities.
Other spinoffs include the animated The Boys Presents: Diabolical. The college-set spinoff Gen V, which is filming its second season in Toronto. As well as the upcoming The Boys: Mexico, executive produced by Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal.
Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios produce the series, in association with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures, and Original Film.
Elizabeth Posey appeared in HBO’s Euphoria as well as Starz wrestling drama Heels.
