The Vampire Lestat is the new name for Interview With A Vampire Season 3, a nod to the third book of the Anne Rice book series.

Interview With A Vampire came to San Diego Comic Con for a fun panel packed with new information and some surprises. Delainey Hayles will be returning, we last saw her meeting her demise in the penultimate episode of Season 2.
Seasons 1 and 2 follow Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) from his first encounter with Lestat de Lancourt.
New characters joining in Season 3:
Jennifer Ehle (Lioness) as Gabriella, Ella Ballentine (Black Conflux) as Baby Jenks, Jeanine Serralles (Apples Never Fall) as Christine Claire, Christopher Heyerdahl (Under the Banner of Heaven) as Marius and Damien Atkins (Slings & Arrows) as Magnus.
Filming for the show moved from New Orleans to Toronto for Season 3. Season 3 filming began on 16 June 2025 and will continue through to 10 October 2025. Rolin Jones serves as showrunner on the project with Dwight Street Books, and AMC Studios producing.
The Vampire Lestat will premiere on AMC and AMC+ sometime in 2026.
