GEN V Season 2 Sees New Trailer Release At SDCC

San Diego Comic Con is the place to be this weekend with several exclusives, including this new Trailer for Gen V Season 2.

The wait for Season 2 is not long now, and with the new trailer, we get to take a closer look at what’s to come. As unlikely as it may have seemed with the events of the Season 1 finale our team are back at Godolkin University. Including Marie after a meeting with Starlight. Godolkin has a new Principal, Cypher, who wants to train the next generation of Supers in the face of Homelander’s America.

In the trailer there was also an image of Chance Perdomo who played Andre Anderson, he passed away in a motorcycle accident shortly before Season 2 began filming.

Showrunner Michele Fazekas spoke to the assembled crowd:

“The shows talk to each other. So Season 4 of The Boys sets up Season 2 of Gen V. So now, Homelander has taken over America. Now, we get to see what that looks like — what that looks like the country, what that looks like at the school, and then what the resistance is going to start looking like.”

The show stars Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, London Thor, Derek Luh, Maddie Phillips, Asa Germann, Sean Patrick Thomas, Hamish Linklater and Ethan Slater.

Gen V Season 2 premieres on Prime Video on 17 September 2025.
