The final day of Witchbomb X was bittersweet but I, as I suspect most of us pushed back the sadness to make the most of the last day with our friends and our community. The day got a boost when we found out that everyone would be entitled to a group photo signed by the cast.

I’m not a photo op kind of person so after a nice breakfast and chatting to some other attendees, it was time for the panels.
Demetria McKinney & Ess Hodlmoser

I had not seen these two on panels prior to this event and I am very glad that was here to see them. From Demetria we could see for ourselves the bonds that existed in MFS between the cast. Also about how the lives of actors can inform their performances and how they take on the characters they play.

We also learned about some embarrassing moments with clarification brought to us by one Catherine Lough Haggquist.

Ess told us about their incredible journey to acting which honestly should immediately be optioned and made into an indie movie or series. It was nice hearing about future projects from both panellists that went beyond their TV and Film careers.
Catherine Lough Haggquist and Arlen Aguayo-Stewart
I feel like this session with Catherine and Arlen gave us a look at the behind the scenes of Motherland Fort Salem.

Kristina Tonteri-Young & Lorena Andrea
Kristina and Lorena fielded our questions including some returning favourites that honestly I should add to my own repertoire. One thing that I remember was Lorena speaking about the international cast and crew of Warrior Nun.

Amalia Holm & Taylor Hickson
How could we not end the schedule as it were with any other duo than these two?

Once the panel was over most of us when to queue up for a one off autograph session where we could get a group shot of the guests signed.

After that last session, my plan was to head back to my hotel room pack up almost everything for the trip home on Monday and head back before Closing Ceremony. Unfortunately, for me that moved forward and I didn’t get there until the end.
The Last Night
With Witchbomb X officially over the attendees headed off to do their own things. I got to have dinner with some of the people I’ve met over the past two WB events
Questions for you? What was the Closing Ceremony like? Any highlights, please share them in the comments section.
