As fans make their way through the current season, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 5 will begin filming next month.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds follows the voyages of Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) on the U.S.S. Enterprise, which predate the voyages of Captain James T. Kirk on the U.S.S. Enterprise.
The show is one of the current generation of shows based on the beloved sci-fi universe. The show got an extended back door pilot through Star Trek: Discovery. It harkens back to Star Trek: The Original Series and features many of those characters as their younger versions.

Strange New Worlds Season 5 stars Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun and Martin Quinn, along with guest star Carol Kane and special guest star Paul Wesley.
The show films in Toronto with Season 5 set to begin on 22 September 2025 and will run through 18 December 2025. Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers serve as co-showrunners. CBS Studios, Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment produce the series.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is available to stream exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., the UK, Latin America, Australia, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Japan.
The series is also available on Paramount+ in Canada. It streams on SkyShowtime in the Nordics, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and Central and Eastern Europe. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
