Luke Macfarlane Inks Exclusive Deal With Crown Media

Luke Macfarlane (Brothers & Sisters) has signed an exclusive multi-picture deal with Crown Media Family Networks.

Macfarlane already has a decent resume across Crown Media channels appearing in four features. Two are the romances A Valentine’s Match and Taking a Shot at Love. While the remaining two are Christmas films – Chateau Christmas and Christmas in My Heart.

Lisa Hamilton Daly, Crown Media’s Executive Vice President, Programming said:

“Luke is an actor whose ability to bring to life characters with heart makes him a fan favorite and we are lucky to work with him.”

“I’m excited to be part of the joy that Hallmark brings to their viewers, not only for Christmas but to be able to participate in telling these heartfelt stories all year long,” Macfarlane added. “I’m really grateful to have this opportunity.”

Outside of Crown Media Macfarlane has appeared in a number of shows. He starred in TV shows including ABC’s Brothers & Sisters and Syfy’s Killjoys. Other appearances include Mercy Street and Smash.

Macfarlane has an upcoming project from Universal Pictures Bros which features an all LGBT principal cast and is the first gay romatic comedy to be made by a major studio.

The actor has also appeared on stage on and off Broadway. He appeared in The Normal Heart on Broadway and The Busy World of Hushed, Where Do We Live and Juvenilia Off Broadway.
