DC’s Titans will premiere early next month and we now know that Lex Luthor will be a major antagonist.

The DC superhero team show filmed for 9 months in Toronto wrapping up last month on September 21^st. DC’s Titans follows Dick Grayson as he tries to find a place for himself as more than Batman’s sidekick Robin. He assembles of team of young heroes to train, the Titans.

Having saved Gotham, the Titans hit the road to head back to San Francisco. But after a stop in Metropolis, they find themselves in the crosshairs of a supernatural cult with powers unlike anything they’ve faced before.

The show stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Nightwing, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Joshua Orpin as Superboy, Jay Lycurgo as Tim Drake.

This season will deal with the supernatural in the form of Brother Blood played by The Originals’ Joseph Morgan. The head of a deadly cult with supernatural powers. Titus Welliver known for starring as Bosch on the titular show and spinoff plays Lex Luthor. Luthor has appeared by proxy in previous seasons, he was responsible for the creation of Superboy and supplied half his DNA as well as his memories.

Other new cast members Franka Potente (Claws) as Mother Mayhem, a member of the Church of Blood. Lisa Ambalavanar (The A List) will play Jinx, traditionally a metahuman with magic based powers. James Scully appears as Bernard , the Director of Special Projects at S.T.A.R. Labs. Finally it has been widely speculated that there will be a crossover with Stargirl with photos appearing showing Brec Bassinger in costume in Toronto.

DC’s Titans premieres on 4^th November 2022 on HBO MAX.
