Die My Love, the upcoming film starring Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson and LaKeith Stanfield is filming in Calgary.
The film is listed on IMDB as a comedy, drama, horror and thriller. It is based on the book of the same name by Ariana Arwicz who also helped write the project. The book was a Man Booker International Prize 2018 Finalist, it is described as psychological, absurdist story.
The film tells the story of a mother struggling to maintain her sanity as she battles psychosis while living in a remote and forgotten rural area. Lawrence descried the novel as reading “like Sylvia Plath, especially because it’s about a woman suffering from postpartum and cycling into madness.”
Once filming started in the middle of August the casting of Robert Pattinson (The Batman) was announced. There are no details on who Pattinson is set to play.
Lynne Ramsay (We Need To Talk About Kevin) will direct the feature. Ramsay and Enda Walsh wrote the script, Justine Ciarrocchi and Lawrence with Martin Scorsese and Andrea Calderwell are producing.
