We were lucky enough to attend the Heroes of Baldurs Gate 3 panel at MCM Comic Con. There fans of the multi-million selling game got a chance to hear from the actors who voice their favourite characters.

Tim Downie, Tracy Wiles, Jennifer English, Aliona Baranova, Samantha Beart and Amelia Tyler were on stage with Ed Templer hosting.

Who’s Who

Leading the charge is Tim Downie, who voices the cunning Gale, and Tracy Wiles, lending her talents to the fierce Jaheira1. Jennifer English captivates as the enigmatic Shadowheart, while Aliona Baranova and Samantha Beart add depth to their characters with their powerful performances. Amelia Tyler sets the tone as the game’s narrator.

Best Laid Plans

MCM Comic Con like all cons are made up of a number of moving parts and things don’t always line up exactly. So the Heroes of Baldurs Gate 3 panel started without the full panel. Still the fan reception was more than enthusiastic and things got started while we waited for our missing guests.

We learned that there was a vocal section of the fans present who were aspiring voice actors. This became even more evident when the panel began taking questions from the floor. There was a lot of details from the guests about their experiences during the project. Some worked four years on the project while others came in at a later stage.
