Cruel Intentions, a new adaption of the hit 90s film has released a new trailer.
The original Cruel Intentions that starred Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Philippe itself is an adaption of novel Dangerous (Liaisons Les Liaisons Dangereuses). In this adaption Sarah Catherine Hook and Zac Burgess star. That film is considered a modern teen movie classic and earned over $75 million in the box office.
The cast also includes Savannah Lee Smith, Sarah Silva, John Harlan Kim, Khobe Clarke, Sean Patrick Thomas, Brooke Lena Johnson.
Two ruthless step siblings will do anything to stay on top of the Greek life hierarchy at an elite Washington, D.C. college. After a brutal hazing incident threatens the entire Panhellenic system, they’ll do whatever’s necessary to preserve their power and reputations — even seduce the daughter of the Vice President of the United States.

Phoebe Fisher and Sara Goodman serve as showrunners on the project. The series filmed in Toronto and found its shooting schedule affected by the strikes.
Filming began on 5 June 2023 and ranu until 14 July 2023 when the strikes intervened. Once the strike ended production re-opened on 18 November and went until 29 January 2024.
Sony Pictures Television, Amazon Studios and Original Film are producers on the series.
