
Maika Monroe has signed on for the next Colleen Hoover adaption project Reminders of Him.

On the back of the success It Ends With Us another of Colleen Hoover’s novels is currently being adapted. Reminders of Him tells the story of troubled young mother Kenna Rowan, who, after serving five years in prison for a tragic mistake, returns to the town where it all went wrong with the hopes of reuniting with her four-year-old daughter.

The book sold more than 6 million copies in the United States alone since its release in 2022.
Maika Monroe recently starred in Longlegs¸ the 2024 Serial Killer thriller which also starred Nicholas Cage. The film proved to be an indie hit. Monroe was the lead in hit horror It Follows that came out in 2014.
Reminders of Him will film in Calgary and the surrounding areas. Shooting will run from 16 April to 12 June. Vanessa Caswill will be in the director’s chair. Hoover and Lauren Levine wrote the screenplay based on Hoover’s novel. Hoover and Levine are producing the film through their production company, Heartbones Entertainment. Gina Matthews is producing through Little Engine Productions. Robin Fisichella is executive producing.
Reminders of Him already has a theatrical release date of 13 February 2026, just in time for Valentine’s Day next year.
