Patton Oswalt spoke to the press at MCM Comic Con alongside Jordan Blum and Scott Hepburn to discuss Minor Threats.
One of the first things the team let us know was a bit of an open secret. We got confirmation that their comic will be getting the live action adaptation treatment at Netflix. Other highlights of the interview include a SPOILER-filled discussion about Ryan Coogler’s Sinners. Seriously if you haven’t watched that, maybe don’t jump into this interview just yet.
Oswalt also spoke to fans at MCM Comic Con London at his panel where he spoke about his career more widely. The interview there was hosted by Claire Lim.
The team also spoke about what motivated them to write about the world of low-level villains as well as what drew them to that subject matter. The conversation regarding Sinners was prompted by a question about what the creative team was watching in terms of genre TV.
