Things are moving forward for the long gestating Facebook follow up The Social Network Part II.

Aaron Sorkin will write and direct The Social Network Part II. Filming will take place in Vancouver from 25 October 2025 through to 10 December 2025.
Released in 2010 by Sony Pictures and based on the Ben Mezrich’s The Accidental Billionaires, The Social Network was a huge hit with audiences and critics and earned $226 million at the global box office. Nominated for eight Oscars including Best Picture, the film won three, including Sorkin for Best Adapted Screenplay.
