We have our look at the young Sinclairs that are set to appear in We Were Liars Season 2.

Madison Wolfe will play Young Bess, Elysia Roorbach as Young Penny and Parker Lapine as Young Carrie.

In an effort to confront her truth, Cadence (Emily Alyn Lind) returns to Beechwood. As she digs deeper into family secrets, she learns about the Sinclair Sisters’ summer of 1999 — a summer rife with first love, rivalry, and even murder. In flashbacks, we see Carrie, Penny, and Bess navigate their own teenage summer, as they come to terms with their past in the present day.

We Were Liars is an adaptation of the novel from E. Lockhart. Season 2 will adapt aspects of the prequel book A Family of Liars. Season 1 of the show premiered on 18 June 2025 and consisted of 8 episodes.

The show stars Emily Alyn Lind, Mamie Gummer, Caitlin FitzGerald, Candice King,, Parker Lapine, Elysia Roorbach , Madison Wolfe, Josh Dallas, Peyton List, Esther McGregor, Joseph Zada, Subham Maheshwar, Rahul Kohli, David Morse, Wendy Crewson, Dylan Bruce, Emerson MacNeil, Charlie Carrick.

Julie Plec, Carina Adly MacKenzie serve as showrunners on the show.

Filming on the YA adaptation takes place in Nova Scotia across several notable locations to play New England. Locations include the Lunenburg waterfront, Chester, Peggy’s Cove, Dartmouth and Halifax. Shooting willl run from 15 June 2026 through to 2 October 2026.
