Alanna Bale Interview – KICKING BLOOD

Hollywood North News was lucky enough to sit down with actress Alanna Bale star of Kicking Blood.

Kicking Blood is a novel take on vampire lore and follows a vampire Anna (Alanna Bale) inspired by drug addict Luke (Luke Bilyk) to give up her own addiction. Giving up blood for a vampire though, might just be a step too far.

During the interview we spoke with Bale about the Canadian film and TV scene but not before I asked some questions about lore rules in Kicking Blood. Other topics touched on include her first acting job, how she got started in acting.

I specifically asked questions about some of Bale’s past filmography including her recurring role on the final season of Syfy’s Killjoys. She played the final incarnation of the Big Bad on that show. Bale spoke about that being a high profile opportunity for her. Also talking about it was like to work there.

This interview is definitely worth a watch if you want to learn more about being a working actor in Canada.
