MCM Comic Con London – Dan Fogler Interview

Dan Fogler attended MCM Comic Con London to discuss his varied career and talk with fans.

Fogler is connected with a number of high profile franchises. He initially spoke about his love for Fantastic Beasts and the role he played within it. Playing Jacob Kowalski over the course of three films he spoke about the different sort of hero the franchise put forward. Specifically, around the fact that his character gets a romantic story, which is rare for characters of his body type.

Indeed, the actor went on comparing the fact that his character was without magic but still gets to be a huge help to Newt and to be heroic himself. You can check out the whole interview below.

One question from the assembled press was about the author’s time writing for Heavy Metal Magazine. That organisation was a huge part of sci-fi culture for several generations of upcoming writers. More recently though it has suffered financial troubles.

As well as facing the assembled press, Fogler would also take time to appear on stage to speak in front of assembled fans.
