
Canada’s Capital Region is set to come alive this July 1 with a full day of vibrant festivities to mark Canada Day.

From family-friendly activities to an unforgettable lineup of performances and the iconic Tim Hortons Canada Day Fireworks. This year’s celebrations will ignite national pride and promises something for everyone.
LeBreton Flats Park will once again serve as the central gathering place, with programming running from 9 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. across Ottawa and Gatineau.
CANADA DAY 2025: CELEBRATING LOUD AND PROUD

The Canada Day National Evening Show is the crown jewel of the celebration. It captures the heart of Canadian pride with a star-studded lineup of performances and high-energy crowds across the capital region.
Broadcast live from Ottawa and featuring remote performances from Summerside (Blue Rodeo), Yellowknife (Crook the Kid, Brenda Montana) and Vancouver (Dear Rouge, Alex Wells), this cross-country concert brings Canadians together through the power of music and shared experience.
Confirmed performers include:
Sarah McLachlan, Cœur de pirate, Josh Ross, Tom Cochrane, Mitsou, Amanda Marshall, Roch Voisine, Randy Bachman, Édith Butler, TALK, Dumas & Ivan Boivin-Flamand, Fredz, Aasiva, Muzion, Billie du Page, and Morgan Grace accompanied by dancers under the direction of Alex Francoeur, as well as Les Sœurs Bégin and Enola Bedard.
Hosted by Isabelle Racicot, the evening show will broadcast live through a variety of mediums including:

NATIONAL NOON CEREMONY: THE OFFICIAL KICKOFF
The celebrations begin with the National Noon Ceremony, also taking place at LeBreton Flats Park. This official event features performances by Amanda Marshall, Garou, Thompson Egbo-Egbo, Rafaëlle Roy, Alli Walker and will be hosted by Sonia Benezra.
Five Exceptional Canadians to Join Order of Canada
Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, will take part in the National Noon Ceremon. She will deliver remarks and preside over a special Order of Canada investiture ceremony, one of the country’s highest honours. The following appointees will be invested into the Order of Canada:

- Deantha Rae Edmunds
- Scott Oake
- Kim Thúy Ly Thanh
