We were lucky enough to attend the Friday Cosplay Showcase session at MCM Comic Con Birmingham.

Cosplay Showcase is described as:
A fun and friendly catwalk for anyone who wants to show their love of a character through cosplay. Open to everyone, of all ages, even if you’ve bought your costume or assembled it from your normal wardrobe.
That’s exactly what cosplayers could do right there on the biggest stage at MCM Comic Con Birmingham. The Live Stage this year is a new design with its own catwalk. The audience seating encircles the main part of the stage which definitely confused some of the guests. Just think of it as a runway connected to a small stage if you can’t tell from the photos.
I find those who go up on stage inspiring. It takes a lot of courage to get up in front of a packed crowd at an event featuring thousands of people.
Check out this gallery of photos from this is first Cosplay Showcase of the Con. Let us know if you participated and we will update with links to more of your cosplay. So if you recognise any of the participants please let them know.
