DOCTOR WHO Battles Tech Issues At MCM Birmingham

Things are never simple when Doctor Who is involved as a number of the classic Doctors came to MCM Comic Con Birmingham.

You never know what to expect heading into a new day at MCM Comic Con but things definitely got weird at the Doctor Who Panel. Here’s the event guide description:

I think Doctor Who fans might be a bit puzzled by that last line but we get the idea. Anyway Amelia Clarke was on hosting duties and shout out to her because things did not go smoothly. Arriving early at the Live Stage even from a distance I noticed something was wrong. Getting there I quickly found out the issue.

The lighting, mics and stage displays were not functioning. Stagg were on hand to keep the fans entertained while work went on behind the scenes to resolve the issues. Unfortunately the issues could not be resolved before the panel had to start. Otherwise it would back up the whole Live Stage schedule.

Check out the above clip which happens after the technical issues had been resolved. The sound with just the actors and presenter going theatre style on the stage wasn’t picked up.
